Explore Vietnam Discovery – 11 Days / 10 Nights with a carefully planned holiday itinerary.
Day 1
– Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City
Meet and greet at the airport, followed by private transfer to your hotel. Check in and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 2
– Vietnamese Cooking Class
Visit Ben Thanh Market to select ingredients before joining a Vietnamese cooking class. Learn cooking, knife skills and food decoration under the guidance of a chef, followed by a meal featuring your preparations. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 3
– Mekong Delta & My Tho
Travel to My Tho and cruise along the Mekong River around the famous Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise Islands. Visit orchards, enjoy tropical fruits and folk music, experience a hand-rowed sampan ride, visit a honey-bee farm and coconut candy workshop, and explore local village life by bicycle. Return to Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 4
– Ho Chi Minh City to Hoi An via Danang
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Danang. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Hoi An. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 5
– Hoi An Eco Tour
Visit a local fishing village and experience traditional fishing activities with local fishermen. Try casting fishing nets and learn to paddle a Vietnamese bamboo basket boat. Enjoy a basket boat experience and lunch before returning to your hotel.
Day 6
– Hoi An Ancient Town & Lantern Making
Explore the historic streets of Hoi An Ancient Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the Japanese Covered Bridge, Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, local fish market, art galleries and traditional shops. Later, participate in a lantern-making class and take your handmade lantern home as a souvenir.
Day 7
– Hoi An to Hanoi & Street Food Tour
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Hanoi. After checking in and some leisure time, enjoy an evening Hanoi street food tour and experience the city's local lifestyle and traditional cuisine.
Day 8
– Bai Dinh Pagoda & Trang An
Travel to Ninh Binh and visit Bai Dinh Pagoda, known for its impressive Buddhist statues and large bronze Buddha. Continue to Trang An for a scenic boat trip through caves and the surrounding mountains and waterways before returning to Hanoi.
Day 9
– Hanoi to Halong Bay
Travel by shuttle bus to Halong Bay and board your cruise. Enjoy lunch while cruising among the bay's spectacular rock formations. Explore small islands, relax on a beach and enjoy dinner onboard. Overnight on the cruise.
Day 10
– Halong Bay to Hanoi
Start the morning with breakfast and an optional Tai Chi session. Continue exploring Halong Bay by day boat, with opportunities for kayaking or swimming, followed by lunch. Return to the harbor and transfer to Hanoi. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 11
– Hanoi Departure
Breakfast at the hotel followed by airport transfer for your flight home. End of services.
